Section 36-21-61 Board of Commissioners of Alabama Peace Officers' Annuity and Benefit Fund
- Creation; composition; qualifications, appointment and terms of office of members; vacancies.
There is created a board to be known as the Board of Commissioners of the Alabama Peace Officers'
Annuity and Benefit Fund. The board shall consist of seven persons, one appointed by the Governor
of the state for a period of six years, one elected by the members of the association to serve
for a period of four years, one elected by the members of the order to serve for a period
of four years, one elected by the members of the State Trooper Association, Inc., to serve

June 7, 2007, the current board members shall complete their terms of office. The board shall
