Section 45-26-141.02 Definitions. As used in this part, the following words and phrases shall have the following meanings: (1) ASSOCIATION. The Elmore County Firefighters Association. (a) Each local governing body of Etowah County shall adopt rules, laws, or ordinances governing the construction, installation, and operation of a wind energy conversion system, including the permit application process as provided in Section 3. (a) It shall be unlawful for any individual, partnership, corporation, association, or joint venture to engage in the business of installation, repair, alteration, addition, maintenance, or inspection of a fire alarm system in this state except in conformity with this chapter.
