Section 41-9-205 Definitions. As used in this article, the following terms shall have the following meanings, respectively, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise: (1) A-95. The process of evaluation, review and coordination of federal and federally assisted programs and projects; (2) A-102. The process of establishing uniform administrative requirements for programs that provide financial assistance through grant or contractual arrangements; (3) GOVERNING BODY. (a) Upon application by a coastal municipality, the Commissioner of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, acting through the Lands Division of the department, shall issue a permit for the construction and maintenance of a beach project by the coastal municipality under the authority of Article 11 of Chapter 47 of Title 11, provided all of the requirements of this section shall have been satisfied. Section 11-65-20 Terms of operator's license. (a) An operator's license issued under this chapter, whether for horse racing and pari-mutuel wagering thereon or for greyhound racing and pari-mutuel wagering thereon, shall be for an initial period of 20 years, but shall be subject to renewal as provided in this section. A commission shall have no power to modify the terms of an operator's license, once issued, without the prior written consent of the holder of such license.
