Section 45-5-240.20 License division created; clerks and other assistants; duties; fees; evidence of payment. (a) There is hereby created within the Revenue Commissioner's Office of Blount County a license division which shall issue all motor vehicle licenses issued through the revenue commissioner's office. The county commission shall furnish suitable quarters and provide the necessary forms, books, stationery, records, equipment, and supplies, except such stationery, forms and supplies as are furnished pursuant to law by the State Department of Finance or the state Comptroller. (a) For the purposes of this section, a "recreational park trailer" is a transportable unit that has a body width not exceeding 14 feet and which is built on a single chassis and is designed to provide seasonal or temporary living quarters when connected to utilities necessary for operation of installed fixtures and appliances. The total area of the unit in a setup mode, when measured from the exterior surface of the exterior stud walls at the level of maximum dimensions, not including any bay window, may not exceed 400 square feet when constructed to ANSI A-119.5 standards. The personnel board shall be composed of not less than three persons nor more than seven persons, as established by the county commission.
