Section 34-2-39 Board for Registration of Architects - Certificates; powers and duties; seals; bylaws; rules and regulations. (a) Each member of the board shall receive a certificate of appointment from the Governor. Before beginning his or her term of office, each member of the board shall file with the Secretary of State the constitutional oath of office. (b) The board, or any committee thereof, shall be entitled to the services of the Attorney General in connection with the affairs of the board, and the board shall have the power to compel attendance of witnesses, to require production of documents, to administer oaths, and to take testimony and proof concerning all matters within its jurisdiction.
