Section 33-19-1 Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint River Basin Compact. The State of Alabama hereby agrees to the following interstate compact known as the Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint River Basin Compact: Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint River Basin Compact The States of Alabama, Florida and Georgia and the United States of America hereby agree to the following compact which shall become effective upon enactment of concurrent legislation by each respective state legislature and the Congress of the United States. Section 22-23B-2 Definitions. The following words and phrases, whenever used in this chapter, shall have the following respective meanings unless the context clearly indicates otherwise: AUTHORITY. Section 24-2-2 Powers of housing authorities or municipalities - Acquisition and redevelopment of blighted property; limitations on eminent domain; definitions. (a) Any housing authority now or hereafter established pursuant to this title, or any incorporated city or town may carry out any work or undertaking, hereafter called a "redevelopment project": (1) To acquire blighted property as defined in subsection (c).
