Section 45-8-150 Definitions. For purposes of this article the following words shall have the following meanings: (1) BINGO. The game commonly known as bingo, which is a game of chance played with cards printed with five rows of five squares each. Participants place markers over randomly called numbers on the cards in an attempt to form a preselected pattern such as a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line, or all four corners. The first participant to form the preselected pattern wins the game. The term "bingo" means any game of bingo of the type described above in which wagers are placed, winners are determined, and prizes or other property is distributed in the presence of all persons placing wagers in that game. The term "bingo" does not refer to any game of chance other than the type of game described in this subdivision. (2) BINGO SESSION. Section 25-5-316 Workers' Compensation Administrative Trust Fund; creation; management; trustee and custodian; assessments; penalties. (a) There is established in the State Treasury a fund entitled the Workers' Compensation Administrative Trust Fund, into which shall be deposited certain assessments provided under Chapter 5 (commencing with Section 25-5-1) of Title 25 collected by the Department of Labor. The fund shall constitute a separate fund to be disbursed by the state Comptroller on order of the Secretary of the Department of Labor. Section 34-14C-4 Licensure; inspections. (a) Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, a home medical equipment services provider shall be licensed annually by the board before the provider may engage in the provision of home medical equipment services. In Alabama, when a single business entity provides home medical equipment services from more than one location within the state, each such location shall be licensed. Section 45-49-150.03 Bingo games - Permit required. (a) No qualified organization shall be permitted to operate a bingo game unless the sheriff first issues a permit to the organization authorizing it to do so. The permit described in this part is in addition to, and not in lieu of, any other business licenses which may be required by law, and no bingo game shall be operated until such time as all required licenses have been obtained. A copy of each license shall be required and attached to the application. A permit holder may hold only one permit and that permit is valid for only one location. A permit is not assignable or transferable. Section 35-12-79 Custody by state; recovery by holder; defense of holder. (a) In this article, good faith means honesty in fact in the conduct or transaction concerned. (b) Upon payment or delivery of property to the Treasurer, the state assumes custody and responsibility for the safekeeping of the property. Section 39-2-12 Partial and final payments of contractors by awarding authorities. (a) As used in this section the following words shall have the meanings ascribed to them as follows: (1) CONTRACTOR.
