Section 45-36-252.06 Bonds of the authority; obligations. (a) In addition to all other powers
now or hereafter granted by law, the authority shall have the following powers, together with
all powers incidental thereto or necessary to the discharge thereof in corporate form: (1)
To sell and issue bonds of the authority in order to provide funds for any corporate function,
use, or purpose, any such bonds to be payable solely out of one or more of the following:
a. Any or all proceeds or receipts from the privilege, license, or excise tax levied on the
sale, distribution, storage, use, or consumption of tobacco and certain tobacco products in
Jackson County by Section 45-36-247. b. Any or all proceeds from any tax received by the Jackson

Section 45-43-242 Sale, distribution, or delivery of malt or brewed beverages to retailers.
(a) The Lowndes County Commission is hereby authorized to levy a privilege or license tax
on all persons, firms, and corporations, selling, distributing, or delivering to retailers
in Lowndes County, any malt or brewed beverages including beer, lager beer, ale, porter, or
similar fermented malt liquor containing one-half of one percent or more of alcohol by volume,
which tax shall be in an amount equal to one cent ($.01) on each 12 fluid ounces or fractional
part thereof, sold or distributed within the county, including that sold or distributed within
all municipalities located in the county. Such tax shall be in addition to all other taxes
heretofore levied on the sale and distribution of such beverages in the county. (b) Any privilege

Section 45-49-252 Definitions. The following words, phases, or terms as used in this part,

Section 45-49-85.42 Temporary judges of probate. (a)(1) If the regularly elected Judge of Probate
of Mobile County is incompetent from any legal cause, incapacitated, absent or will be absent
from sickness, or otherwise disqualified from acting as judge, the judge of probate or the
chief clerk shall certify the fact of incompetency, incapacity, absence, sickness, or disqualification

Section 11-97-6 Board of directors of corporation; election; terms of office; vacancies; qualifications;

Section 29-9-5 Withdrawals from Education Trust Fund Budget Stabilization Fund. (a) Except
as provided in Section 29-9-3 and in subdivision (b), amounts in the Education Trust Fund
Budget Stabilization Fund may be withdrawn only to prevent proration in the Education Trust
Fund. The Governor must certify to the state Comptroller and notify the Legislature that proration
would occur in the Education Trust Fund before funds may be withdrawn to prevent proration.

Section 24-10-8 Alabama Housing Trust Fund Advisory Committee - Composition; expenses; staff.
(a) There is created the Alabama Housing Trust Fund Advisory Committee for the purpose of
advising the Director of ADECA and staff of the department with respect to the Alabama Housing
