Section 45-45-110.02 Meeting days. (a) The Board of Registrars of Madison County shall
meet at the county courthouse for the purpose of registering voters on the first Monday in
each month, and may also meet an additional 220 days in each calendar year any place in the
county that it may select. (b)(1) At any meeting of the board applications for registration
shall be taken from persons residing anywhere in the county. The court of county commissioners,
board of revenue, or like governing body of Madison County, or the governing body of any city
in Madison County, in its discretion, may employ clerical assistants for the board, fix their
compensation, and provide for the payment thereof from the general fund of the county or city.

(a) Whenever there is reasonable cause to believe that a prisoner who has been paroled has
violated his or her parole, the Board of Pardons and Paroles, at its next meeting, may declare
the prisoner to be delinquent, and time owed shall date from the delinquency. The Department

Section 22-52-10.6 Petition for renewal of inpatient commitment order; probate court;
special judge; notice; hearing. (a) A petition for renewal of an inpatient commitment order
may be filed by the director of a state mental health facility or his designee at least 30
days prior to the expiration of the current commitment order. The petition, together with
a copy of the original commitment order and copies of any subsequent renewal commitment orders,
shall be filed with the probate court of the county where the facility is located. The petition
shall explain in detail why renewal of the order is being requested, and shall further explain

Section 36-26-27 Dismissals and disciplining of employees generally. (a) An appointing
authority may dismiss a classified employee whenever he considers the good of the service
will be served thereby, for reasons which shall be stated in writing, served on the affected
employee and a copy furnished to the director, which action shall become a public record.
