Section 11-92C-2 Definitions. For the purposes of this chapter, the following words have the following meanings: (1) APPLICANT. A natural person who files a written application with the governing body of any authorizing subdivision in accordance with Section 11-92C-3. (2) AUTHORITY. Any local redevelopment authority organized pursuant to this chapter. (3) AUTHORIZING RESOLUTION. A resolution adopted by the governing body of any authorizing subdivision in accordance with Section 11-92C-3, which authorizes the incorporation of the authority. (4) AUTHORIZING SUBDIVISION. Any county or municipality that has adopted an authorizing resolution. (5) BOARD. The board of directors of an authority. (6) BONDS. Any bonds, notes, certificates, or any other form of indebtedness representing an obligation to pay money. (7) CONTIGUOUS. Section 28-3-190 Levy of tax; collection; disposition of proceeds by localities; enforcement and administration; penalties; exclusive nature of tax. (a) Levy. Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, any Class 4 municipality that is organized pursuant to this article may from time to time reduce or delete various portions and areas from the territorial limits of its respective police jurisdiction or its planning jurisdiction or both as established by law, including, but not limited to, Sections 11-40-10 and 11-52-30, Act 76-594 and as amended by Act 94-539, the reduction and deletion shall be pursuant to the following procedure: (1) INITIATION.
