Section 24-9-5 Alabama Land Bank Authority Board. (a) There is created the Alabama Land Bank Authority Board which shall govern the authority to administer and enforce this chapter. Section 25-10-6 Advisory council. There is hereby created an advisory council to the department to be composed of representatives of designated small business enterprises to be named as follows: Five by the Governor, two each by the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and one by the secretary of the department to serve ex officio as chairman of the council. The members of the council shall serve without compensation but may be reimbursed for travel and other necessary expenses out of any funds appropriated to the department. There shall be established a legislative oversight committee to provide recommendations to the board concerning efficient operation of the authority.
