Section 41-29-501 Definitions. (a) For the purposes of this article, the following words and phrases shall have the following meanings: (1) AUTHORITY. The public corporation organized pursuant to the provisions of Sections 41-10-20 through 41-10-32. (2) AUTHORIZED PURPOSE. Any one or more of the purposes for which grants are herein authorized to be made as specified in Section 41-29-503(a). (3) BOARD OF DIRECTORS. The board of directors of the authority. (4) BOND. The bonds issued under the provisions of this article. (5) CAPITAL COSTS. Section 23-1-332 Creation; revenue sources; allocation of revenue; use of funds; funds to be matched; obligation limitations; role of department; unobligated funds. (a) There is created within the state a program to be known as the Rural Access Program. (b) The following revenues sources shall be allocated for use of the Rural Access Program. (1) Motor fuel taxes distributed to the Department of Transportation and deposited in the Public Road and Bridge Fund under the provisions of Sections 40-17-13 and 40-17-222, in excess of 105 percent of the base year receipts, compounded annually. Section 9-16-125 Reclamation program. (a) The Department of Labor, State Programs Division, shall establish and maintain a state reclamation program for abandoned mines which complies with Title IV of Public Law 95-87. The state reclamation program plan shall generally identify the areas to be reclaimed, the purposes for which the reclamation is proposed, the relationship of the lands to be reclaimed and the proposed reclamation to surrounding areas, the specific criteria for ranking and identifying projects to be funded, and the legal authority and programmatic capability to perform such work in conformance with the provisions of the federal act.
