Section 8-7A-2 Definitions. For purposes of this chapter, the following terms shall have the
following meanings: (1) AGENT or AUTHORIZED DELEGATE. Any person designated or employed by
a licensee under this chapter to provide monetary transmission services on behalf of the licensee.
(2) APPLICANT. Any person that files an application for a license under this chapter. (3)
BANK. An institution organized under federal or state law which meets any of the following
requirements: a. Accepts demand deposits or deposits that the depositor may use for payment
to third parties and engages in the business of making loans. b. Engages in credit card operations
and maintains only one office that accepts deposits, does not accept demand deposits or deposits
that a depositor may use for payments to third parties, does not accept a savings or time
deposit less than one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000), and does not engage in the business

Section 12-17-226.2 Applicants for admittance. (a) A person charged with a criminal offense
specified in subsection (b) whose jurisdiction is in the circuit court or district court in
a circuit in which a pretrial diversion program has been created pursuant to this division
may apply to the district attorney of the circuit for admittance to the program. (b) A person
charged with any of the following offenses may apply for the pretrial diversion program: (1)
A drug offense, excluding sale of a controlled substance as provided in Section 13A-12-211,

Section 31-13-28 Voter registration eligibility and requirements. (a) Applications for voter
registration shall contain voter eligibility requirements and such information as is necessary
to prevent duplicative voter registrations and enable the county board of registrars to assess
the eligibility of the applicant and to administer voter registration, identify the applicant
and to determine the qualifications of the applicant as an elector and the facts authorizing
such person to be registered. Applications shall contain a statement that the applicant shall

Section 34-31-28 Examination for certification; registration; eligibility; further testing,
etc., by localities prohibited; exemptions. (a) All prospective certified contractors in this
state desiring to qualify in accordance with the provisions of this chapter shall be required

Section 40-17-352 Criminal penalties. (a) Any person who willfully does any of the following
is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not less than five thousand

Section 9-16-89 Performance bonds and bond releases. (a) After a surface coal mining and reclamation
permit application has been approved but before such a permit is issued, the applicant shall
file with the regulatory authority, on a form prescribed and furnished by the regulatory authority,
a bond for performance payable to the state and conditioned upon faithful performance of all
the requirements of this article and the permit. The bond shall cover all lands disturbed
by the surface coal mining operation and the amount of the initial bond shall be such to cover

this section, the following words have the following meanings: (1) DENTAL HOME. The dental
