Section 34-14-34 Fees. (a) The board shall establish fees by rule adopted pursuant to the Alabama Administrative Procedure Act. The board may impose fees of not less than twenty-five dollars ($25) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) for each of the following: (1) Initial application fee for an apprentice permit, hearing aid specialist license, and hearing aid dispenser license. (2) License fee for a hearing aid specialist license and for a hearing aid dispenser license. (3) Renewal fee for the renewal of a hearing aid specialist license and the renewal of a hearing aid dispenser license. (4) Permit fee for an apprentice permit. Section 8-6-32 Party aggrieved by order entitled to hearing before commission; appeals from action of commission. (a) Any person aggrieved by an order issued under this article shall be entitled to a hearing pursuant to the provisions of the Alabama Administrative Procedure Act (Section 41-22-1 et seq.) pertaining to "contested cases," if such person, within 28 days after delivery of the order, submits a written request for a hearing before the commission. The order shall disclose the right to a hearing upon written request within 28 days after delivery of the order. (a) Every license to practice chiropractic or permit to own a chiropractic practice shall be subject to renewal on September 30 of the year for which it is issued with a grace period from October 1 to December 31 of each year.
