Section 41-23-5 Establishment of divisions; appointment of division chiefs; oath of office; restrictions on employment; directors of merged agencies abolished; purpose of chapter. (a) The Director of the Department of Economic and Community Affairs, with the approval of the Governor, may establish such division or divisions as may, in his discretion, be reasonably necessary for the administration and enforcement of any law, rule or regulation with which the department is charged or the performance of any of its functions or duties. Each division in the department shall be headed by and be under the direction, supervision and control of an officer who shall be designated as the chief of such division.
