Section 27-17A-22 Violations and penalties. (a)(1) A person who knowingly receives payments
for a preneed contract without having a valid certificate of authority: a. Commits a Class
B felony, punishable as provided by law, as to each contract on which the payments collected
equal or exceed, in the aggregate, two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500). b. Commits
a Class C felony, punishable as provided by law, as to each contract on which the payments
collected are between, in the aggregate, five hundred dollars ($500) and two thousand five
hundred dollars ($2,500). c. Commits a Class A misdemeanor, punishable as provided by law,
as to each contract on which the payments collected do not exceed, in the aggregate, five
hundred dollars ($500). (2) In addition to the criminal penalty imposed under subdivision
(1), upon conviction of an offense under subdivision (1), a person may not thereafter obtain

Section 34-32-8 Powers of board generally. The board shall have the following powers: (1) To
adopt and amend all bylaws, rules, and regulations necessary or convenient to administer and
carry out the provisions of this chapter and for the conduct of its affairs and functions

Section 34-9-6.1 Mobile dental facilities or portable dental operations. (a) For purposes of
this section, the following words have the following meanings: (1) DENTAL HOME. The dental
home is the ongoing relationship between the dentist and the patient, inclusive of all aspects
of oral health care, delivered in a comprehensive, continuously accessible, coordinated, and
family-centered way. (2) MOBILE DENTAL FACILITY. Any self-contained facility in which dentistry
or dental hygiene is practiced which may be moved, towed, or transported from one location
to another. (3) OPERATOR. A person licensed to practice dentistry in this state or an entity
which is approved as tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code which
employs dentists licensed in the state to operate a mobile dental facility or portable dental

Section 25-12-15 Inspection report; maintenance of records; inspection certificate. (a) Each
company employing special inspectors, within 30 days following each certificate inspection
made by the inspectors, shall file a report of the inspection with the chief inspector upon
appropriate forms as promulgated by the secretary. The filing of reports of external inspections,
other than certificate inspections, shall not be required except when the inspections disclose
that the boiler or pressure vessel is in a dangerous condition. (b) Each company operating

Section 27-21A-2 Establishment of health maintenance organizations. (a) Notwithstanding any
law of this state to the contrary, any person may apply to the commissioner for and obtain
a certificate of authority to establish and operate a health maintenance organization in compliance
with this chapter. No person shall establish or operate a health maintenance organization
in this state without obtaining a certificate of authority under this chapter. A foreign corporation

Section 34-9-18 Grounds for disciplinary action. (a) The board may invoke disciplinary action
as outlined in subsection (b) whenever it shall be established to the satisfaction of the
board, after a hearing as hereinafter provided, that any dentist or dental hygienist has been
guilty of the following: (1) Fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation in obtaining any license,

Section 22-30-19 Penalties and remedies. (a) Whenever, on the basis of any information, the
department determines that any person is in violation of any requirement of this chapter,
any rule or regulation promulgated by the department or any permit issued under authority
granted by this chapter, the department may issue an order requiring compliance immediately
or within a specified time period, and, in cases where an imminent threat to human health
or the environment is demonstrated, suspend operations causing such threat until the department

Section 22-9A-16 Authorization for final disposition. (a) The funeral director or person acting
as the funeral director who first assumes custody of a dead body shall, prior to final disposition
of the body, or prior to removal of the dead body from the state, obtain authorization for

Section 22-9A-22 Copies or data from the system of vital statistics. (a) In accordance with
Section 22-9A-21 and any rules adopted pursuant to that section: (1) The State Registrar and
other custodians of vital records authorized by the State Registrar to issue certified copies
shall upon receipt of an application issue a certified copy of vital records in his or her
custody or a part of the record. The vital records may be in the form of originals, photographic,

Section 10A-2A-1.40 Chapter definitions. Notwithstanding Section 10A-1-1.03, as used in this
chapter, unless otherwise specified or unless the context otherwise requires, the following
