Section 22-6-73 Powers of board. The board of directors of the trust fund shall have the following powers: (1) To transfer funds in the trust fund, upon appropriation by the Legislature, to the Alabama Medicaid Agency for any purpose for which the Medicaid Agency may expend funds. (2) To advise the State Treasurer on investments that may be made with trust fund assets. (3) To make recommendations to the Governor and the Legislature as to the need for appropriations from the Medicaid Trust Fund to the Medicaid Agency.
