Section 5-17-45 Legislative findings; powers of credit unions; agreements; reports. (a) The
Legislature finds as fact and determines that the credit unions having their principal place
of business in Alabama must keep pace with technological and other improvements constantly
being made throughout the United States so as to enable Alabama credit unions to render better
and more efficient services to their members. It is necessary and desirable that the administrator
be given additional authority in these fields. (b) The administrator is hereby authorized
to expand powers of Alabama credit unions in order to accomplish both of the following: (1)
Accommodate or take advantage of changing technologies. (2) Assure the ability of Alabama
credit unions to be responsive in their business to the needs and conveniences demanded by

Section 38-13-1 Legislative findings and intent. Under the National Child Protection Act of
1993, Public Law 103-209, 42 U.S.C. ยง 5119, et seq., the states are permitted to implement
a computerized information system to provide child abuse crime information through the Federal
Bureau of Investigation National Criminal History Record Information System. The states may

Section 22-11E-1 Legislative findings. (a) The Legislature finds the following: (1) Concussions
are one of the most commonly reported injuries in children and adolescents who participate
in sports and recreational activities. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates
that as many as 3,900,000 sports-related and recreation-related concussions occur in the United
States each year. A concussion is caused by a blow or motion to the head or body that causes
the brain to move rapidly inside the skull. The risk of catastrophic injuries or death is

Section 38-9A-1 Definitions. As used in this chapter, the following definitions shall have

Section 24-10-8 Alabama Housing Trust Fund Advisory Committee - Composition; expenses; staff.
(a) There is created the Alabama Housing Trust Fund Advisory Committee for the purpose of
advising the Director of ADECA and staff of the department with respect to the Alabama Housing
Trust Fund. (b) The membership of the advisory committee shall be inclusive and reflect the
