Section 27-1-20 Patient Right to Know Act. (a) This section shall be known and may be cited as the "Patient Right to Know Act." (b) As used in this section, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, the following words shall have the following meanings: (1) ENROLLEE. A person who purchases individual health care coverage or an employer who purchases a group health care plan. (2) PROVIDER. A physician, dentist, podiatrist, pharmacist, optometrist, psychologist, clinical social worker, advanced nurse practitioner, registered optician, licensed professional counselor, physical therapist, and chiropractor. Section 20-2-301 Medication assisted treatment. (a)(1) For all patients receiving medication assisted treatment, adequate billing records shall be maintained, in any format, for all patient visits. Billing records shall be maintained for a period of three years from the date of the patient's last treatment. Billing records shall be made for all methods of payment.
