Section 16-27-1 State Board of Education to prescribe rules and regulations. The State Board
of Education shall prescribe rules and regulations: (1) Requiring all local boards of education
which provide transportation services for pupils going to and from public elementary and secondary
schools of Alabama or in school-related activities, and the presidents of all state community,
junior and technical colleges and directors of all state technical institutes and trade schools
which provide transportation services for pupils going to and from said technical institutes
and trade schools or community, junior and technical colleges to employ a competent supervisor

Section 16-37-4 Authority of state board as to vocational education. The State Board of Education
shall have all necessary authority to cooperate with the federal Department of Health, Education
and Welfare in the administration of the act of Congress accepted in Section 16-37-1; to administer
any legislation pursuant thereto enacted by the State of Alabama and to administer the funds
provided by the federal government and the State of Alabama, under the provisions of this

for implementation. (a) The State Superintendent of Education shall administer this chapter

of The Citizenship Trust, an unincorporated non-profit association domiciled in Shelby County,
Alabama, may present to the Secretary of State an executed application for incorporation compatible
