Section 27-21A-1 Definitions. As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the following meanings, respectively: (1) AGENT. A person who is appointed or employed by a health maintenance organization and who engages in solicitation of membership in such organization. This definition does not include a person enrolling members on behalf of an employer, union, or other organization. (2) BASIC HEALTH CARE SERVICES. Emergency care, inpatient hospital and physician care, and outpatient medical services. (3) COMMISSIONER. The Commissioner of Insurance. (4) ENROLLEE. An individual who is enrolled in a health maintenance organization. (5) EVIDENCE OF COVERAGE. Any certificate, agreement, or contract issued to an enrollee setting out the coverage to which he is entitled. (6) HEALTH CARE SERVICES. Section 31-9C-3 Statewide wireless communication system; powers and duties of commission. (a) The commission may purchase, lease, acquire, or otherwise implement a statewide wireless communication system to serve first responder users in state and local governments and those private entities that enter into a partnership with the commission. The commission shall have the sole authority over, and bear full responsibility for, the design, engineering, and construction of the system and shall ensure the proper operation and maintenance of all equipment thereto, unless otherwise owned and maintained by other state or local entities. Section 34-14-2 Licenses or permits - Required; display; duplicates; corporations, partnerships, etc. (a) No person shall engage in the sale of or practice of fitting hearing instruments or display a sign or in any other way advertise or represent himself or herself as a person who practices the fitting and sale of hearing instruments unless the person holds a license or permit issued by the board as provided in this chapter.
