Section 26-10A-16 Petition. (a) A petition for adoption shall be filed with the clerk of the
court within 30 days after the minor is placed with the prospective adoptive parent or parents
for purposes of adoption unless the minor is in custody of the Department of Human Resources
or a licensed child placing agency except that a petition for good cause shown may be filed
beyond the 30-day period. The petition shall be signed, and verified by each petitioner, and

Section 29-4-6 Rights of retired employees. (a) It is lawful and permissible for any public
employee who has retired under the Employees' Retirement System or the Judicial Retirement
Fund to be employed with the House of Representatives, the Senate, the Department of the Examiners

training plans; rights of children; licensing and inspection of food preparation areas; access

Section 40-14A-25 Filing of returns. (a) Every taxpayer shall file a privilege tax return,
which shall include the public record disclosures required by Section 10-2B-16.22, with the
department for every taxable year for which it is subject to the tax levied by this article.
A disregarded entity that is owned by an individual, general partnership, or other entity
not subject to the tax levied by this article shall file a return and pay the tax levied on
it by this article. Except as provided in Section 40-14A-22(f) (4), the return required by
this section is due no later than the corresponding federal income tax return as required
