Section 36-32-3 Officers; powers and duties; compensation; expenditures and revenues; education
and training; facilities. (a) The commission shall elect a chairman and a vice-chairman from
among its members at the first regular quarterly meeting of the calendar year. (b) The commission
may do all of the following: (1) Organize the Alabama Fire College by appointing an executive
director, assistant directors, and such officers as the interest of the Alabama Fire College
may require. (2) Remove the executive director or any assistant or other officer. (3) Fix,
increase, or reduce the compensation of the executive director or any assistant or other officer.

Section 34-1-3 State Board of Public Accountancy. (a) There is created a board of public accountancy
in and for the State of Alabama, to be known as the Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy.
The board shall consist of seven members appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Senate.

Section 36-30-1 Definitions; dependents; persons eligible for compensation. (a) For the purposes
of this chapter, the following words and phrases shall have the following meanings: (1) AWARDING

Section 44-1-51 Composition; compensation; records. (a) The Governor shall be the ex officio

Section 34-21-2 Board of Nursing generally. (a) There is created the Board of Nursing, which
shall be composed of 13 members to be appointed and have the duties and powers enumerated
