Section 41-9-870 Creation of Alabama Peace Officers' Hall of Fame Board; composition; compensation; meetings. (a) The Alabama Peace Officers' Hall of Fame Board is hereby created and established. The board shall be composed of seven law enforcement officers. Any board member serving on May 14, 2012, shall serve a term of four years commencing from that date, and thereafter, all board members shall be appointed as herein provided and shall serve a term of office of four years. Each two years the board shall elect one of its members to serve as chair.
