Section 31-11-2 National Guard Mutual Assistance Counter-Drug Activities Compact. The National Guard Mutual Assistance Counter-Drug Activities Compact is enacted into law and entered with all other jurisdictions mutually adopting the compact in the form substantially as follows: NATIONAL GUARD MUTUAL ASSISTANCE COUNTER-DRUG ACTIVITIES COMPACT ARTICLE I As used in this compact, the following words shall have the following meanings: 1. DEMAND REDUCTION. Providing available National Guard personnel, equipment, support, and coordination to federal, state, local and civil organizations, institutions, and agencies for the purposes of the prevention of drug abuse and the reduction in the demand for illegal drugs. 2. DRUG INTERDICTION AND COUNTER-DRUG COMPACT ACTIVITIES. Section 16-6G-7 Alabama Committee on Grade Level Reading. (a) The State Superintendent of Education shall establish the Alabama Committee on Grade Level Reading. The committee shall consist of three members appointed from each State Board of Education district. Section 22-6-221 Service by integrated care network; board of directors. (a) An integrated care network shall serve only Medicaid beneficiaries in providing medical care and services. For the purposes of this article, a beneficiary cannot be a member of both an integrated care network and a regional care organization. (a) Participation in the Alabama State Employee Combined Charitable Campaign shall be limited to voluntary, charitable, health and human care federations and agencies with a substantial local presence that provide or support direct health and welfare services to individuals or their families and meet the criteria set forth in this section. "Substantial local presence" is defined as a facility, staffed by professionals or volunteers, available to provide its services and open at least 15 hours a week. (a) In making apportionment of the Public School Fund held by the state, to the local boards of education, the State Superintendent of Education shall first set apart and distribute to the schools of each township the amount due from the state thereto as interest on its sixteenth section fund, or other trust fund held by the state. (b) It is the intent of the Legislature to insure that no local board of education receive less state funds per pupil than it received in fiscal year 1994-95.
