Section 22-3A-6 Members; officers; terms; records; meetings; appointment of Governor's designee.
(a) The applicants named in the application and their respective successors in office shall
constitute the members of the authority. The State Health Officer shall be the president of
the authority, the Governor or his designee shall serve as vice-president of the authority,
the Director of Finance of the state shall serve as secretary of the authority, and the State
Treasurer shall be the treasurer of the authority. The State Treasurer shall act as custodian
of the funds of the authority and shall pay the principal of and the interest and premium
(if any) on the bonds of the authority out of the funds hereinafter provided for. The State
Treasurer shall act as paying agent with respect to any series of bonds issued under this

Section 11-57-5 Certificate of incorporation - Filing and recordation. The certificate of incorporation,
having attached thereto a certified copy of the resolution provided for in Section 11-57-3
and a certificate by the Secretary of State that the name proposed for the authority is not
identical with that of any other corporation in the state or so nearly similar thereto as
to lead to confusion and uncertainty, shall be filed in the office of the judge of probate
of any county in which any portion of the municipality is located, who shall forthwith receive
and record the same. When such certificate of incorporation and attached documents have been
so filed, the authority referred to therein shall come into existence and shall constitute
a public corporation and a political subdivision of the state under the name set forth in

Section 10A-10-1.15 Merger. (a) For purposes of this section, the following words shall have

Section 17-6-81 Fair Ballot Commission; ballot statements. (a)(1) There is created the Fair
Ballot Commission. The purpose of the commission is to provide to the public a fair and accurate
