Section 33-5A-2 Removal. (a) A law enforcement officer may request a service to remove a vessel
from public property under any of the following circumstances: (1) The vessel is determined
by the officer to be abandoned. (2) The vessel is left unattended because the operator of
the vessel has been arrested. (3) The vessel is determined by the officer to pose a threat
to public health or safety. (4) The vessel is determined by the officer to be a derelict vessel.
(b) An owner of private property may request a service to remove an abandoned or derelict
vessel from the private property to a storage place. (c)(1) A law enforcement officer who
directs the removal of a vessel in accordance with this chapter shall be liable only in accordance
with Section 36-1-12. (2) A person who removes or stores a vessel in accordance with this

Section 8-12A-2 Assertion of patent infringement in bad faith. (a) A person may not assert
a claim of patent infringement in bad faith. (b) The Attorney General may investigate claims
of patent infringement alleged to have been made in bad faith and may do both of the following:
(1) Issue subpoenas to any person to appear and produce relevant papers, documents, and physical
evidence, and administer an oath or affirmation to any person, in aid of any investigation
or inquiry into possible violations of this chapter. Subpoenas shall be served in accordance

Section 8-19-10 Private right of action. (a) Any person who commits one or more of the acts
or practices declared unlawful under this chapter and thereby causes monetary damage to a
consumer, and any person who commits one or more of the acts or practices declared unlawful
in subdivisions (19) and (20) of Section 8-19-5 and thereby causes monetary damage to another
person, shall be liable to each consumer or other person for: (1) Any actual damages sustained
by such consumer or person, or the sum of $100, whichever is greater; or (2) Up to three times

Section 12-25-35 Use of voluntary sentencing standards. (a) In felony cases, a probation officer,
the district attorney, or some other person appointed at the discretion of the sentencing
judge, and within the time frame set by the judge, shall, after notice to the offender or
his or her attorney, present a completed appropriate voluntary sentencing standards worksheet
to the sentencing judge for consideration. (b) The trial court shall review the sentencing
standards worksheet and consider the suitability of the applicable voluntary sentencing standards

department determines that any person is in violation of any requirement of this chapter,
any rule or regulation promulgated by the department or any permit issued under authority
