Section 14-2-19 Bonds - Disposition of proceeds. (a) All proceeds derived from the sale of
any bonds, except refunding bonds, sold by the authority, remaining after payment of the expenses
of issuance thereof, shall be turned over to the State Treasurer, shall be carried in a special
account to the credit of the authority, and shall be subject to be drawn on by the authority
solely for the purposes of: (1) Acquiring land for and constructing, reconstructing and equipping
thereon one or more facilities; (2) Constructing additional improvements on property currently
owned by the Department of Corrections or the authority in order to provide for additional
bedspace; (3) Paying all reasonable and necessary expenses incidental thereto, including filing,

Section 14-2-20 Bonds - Investment of proceeds. Any portion of the principal proceeds derived
from the sale of the bonds which the board of directors of the authority may determine is
not then needed for any of the purposes for which the bonds are authorized to be issued shall,

Section 16-65-4 Creation of authority; members, organization, etc. There is hereby created
a public body corporate and politic to be known as Alabama Higher Education Equipment Loan
Authority. The authority shall not be a state institution nor a department or agency of the

Section 23-7-20 Securing of bonds - Trust indenture. (a) Bonds may be secured by a trust indenture
between the bank and a corporate trustee, which may be the State Treasurer or any bank having
trust powers or any trust company doing business in this state. A trust indenture may contain
provisions for protecting and enforcing the rights and remedies of the bondholders which are
reasonable and proper, including covenants setting forth the duties of the bank in relation
to the exercise of its powers and the custody, safekeeping, and application of its money.

Section 26-16-30 Creation of fund; purpose; investment; disposition. (a) The Children's Trust
Fund is created as a separate fund in the State Treasury. The function of the Children's Trust
Fund shall be to serve as a permanent trust pursuant to Section 26-16-8, and as an investment

Section 36-18-7 Alabama Forensic Services Trust Fund - Additional fee for persons convicted
of drug possession, sale, trafficking; proceeds and earnings credited to fund. (a) Beginning
October 1, 1995, in addition to all fines, fees, costs, and punishments prescribed by law,
there shall be imposed or assessed an additional fee of one hundred dollars ($100) on any
conviction in any court of the state for drug possession, drug sale, drug trafficking, and
drug paraphernalia offense as defined in Sections 13A-12-211 to 13A-12-260, inclusive. (b)
No later than 30 days after collection, proceeds from the additional fines collected pursuant
