Section 8-6-10 Registration of securities - Exempt securities. Sections 8-6-4 through 8-6-9 shall not apply to any of the following securities: (1) Any security, including a revenue obligation, issued or guaranteed by the United States, any state, any political subdivision of a state, any agency, corporate, or other instrumentality of one or more of the foregoing; or any certificate of deposit for any of the foregoing. Section 13A-11-61.3 Regulation of firearms, ammunition, and firearm accessories. (a) The purpose of this section is to establish within the Legislature complete control over regulation and policy pertaining to firearms, ammunition, and firearm accessories in order to ensure that such regulation and policy is applied uniformly throughout this state to each person subject to the state's jurisdiction and to ensure protection of the right to keep and bear arms recognized by the Constitutions of the State of Alabama and the United States. Section 34-21-2 Board of Nursing generally. (a) There is created the Board of Nursing, which shall be composed of 13 members to be appointed and have the duties and powers enumerated in this section. The membership of the board shall be inclusive and reflect the racial, gender, geographic, urban/rural, and economic diversity of the state. In order to insure continuity of administration, the nine board members provided for by Section 3 of Act 427, Regular Session 1975, shall continue to serve to the completion of the term for which they are serving.
