Section 11-92A-9 Board of directors. (a) The board of directors of an authority shall be as specified in the articles, or as provided in Sections 11-92A-5 and 11-92A-6, provided that each county within the authorized operational area of an authority shall be represented by at least three directors. (b) Each authority shall have a chairman, vice-chairman, secretary, and treasurer, to be elected by the board of directors. The offices of secretary and treasurer may, but need not, be held by the same person. A majority of the directors shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business. The officers and directors shall serve for the terms provided for in the articles. No director shall draw any salary for any service rendered or for any duty performed as director. Section 20-2-213 Reporting requirements. (a) Each of the entities designated in subsection (b) shall report to the department, or to an entity designated by the department, controlled substances prescription information as designated by regulation pertaining to all Class II, Class III, Class IV, and Class V controlled substances in such manner as may be prescribed by the department by regulation. Section 22-30B-2.1 Annual payments to counties; guaranteed amount; distribution of funds. (a) There is hereby provided to all counties having less than 25,000 population and wherein on April 17, 1990, a commercial site for the disposal of hazardous waste or hazardous substances is located, an annual payment of two and one-half percent of the gross receipts generated by Section 22-30B-2 as provided herein over those fees in existence on October 1, 1989. (b) Any county identified in subsection (a) is hereby guaranteed an amount not to exceed the lesser of $4,200,000.00 or 100 percent of the receipts to the state paid on wastes or substances disposed of in the county. (a) There is hereby created a State Ethics Commission composed of five members, each of whom shall be a fair, equitable citizen of this state and of high moral character and ability. (a) A death sentence shall be executed by lethal injection, unless the person sentenced to death affirmatively elects to be executed by electrocution or nitrogen hypoxia.
