Section 9-7A-13 Functions and activities of commissioner - Generally. In order to carry
out the provisions of this chapter the commissioner through plans and programs of the department
shall perform the following functions and activities: (1) Prepare and maintain a continuing
inventory and evaluation of recreational needs and resources of the State of Alabama; (2)
Formulate and maintain a comprehensive statewide recreation plan, taking into consideration
the plans of various federal and state agencies, and political subdivisions. The plan shall
set forth the needs and demands of the public for recreation in the current and foreseeable
future, recommend desirable actions to be taken at each level of government, as well as identify
those actions that can be made by private interests; (3) Provide technical assistance and

Section 22-28-23 Local air pollution control programs. (a) Except as provided in this
section, it is the intention of this chapter to occupy by preemption the field of air
pollution control within all areas of the State of Alabama. However, nothing in this section
shall be construed to limit or abrogate any private remedies now available to any person for
the alleviation, abatement, control, correction, or prevention of air pollution or restitution
for damage resulting therefrom. (b) Subject to the provisions of this section, each
municipal governing body which had municipal ordinances in effect on, or before, July 1, 1969,
which pertain to air pollution control and which provide for the creation and establishment

Section 34-25A-5 Application for licensure or registration. (a) Except as provided in
subsection (h) or (i), no person shall administer prosthetic, orthotic, or pedorthic care
in this state unless licensed or registered to do so in accordance with this chapter. The
board shall issue approved forms for application prior to January 1, 2003. (b) In order to
obtain a license as a prosthetist, orthotist, or prosthetist/orthotist in this state, an applicant

Section 41-10-44.3 Additional powers of authority. In addition to the powers granted
to it in Section 41-10-26 and in Sections 41-10-37 through 41-10-43, the authority

Section 28-3-11 Invoices and receipts to be maintained by persons, firms, etc., selling
or shipping goods, merchandise, etc., to persons, firms, etc., in another state or to federal
