Section 22-22B-2 Definitions. As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the following meanings, respectively, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise: (1) PROGRAM FOR THE MANAGEMENT AND MARKETING OF RECYCLABLE MATERIALS. A formal program administered by state agencies and/or public school systems for the recycling of recyclable materials collected by state agencies and/or public school systems pursuant to a program for waste reduction and the collection of recyclable materials. (2) PROGRAM FOR WASTE REDUCTION AND THE COLLECTION OF RECYCLABLE MATERIALS. A formal program implemented by state agencies and/or public school systems for the reduction of solid wastes generated by the operation of such agencies and/or public school systems including the collection in lieu of disposal of recyclable materials. Section 22-30-18 Reporting of wastes generated; when reports deemed trade secrets. Every generator, transporter, and owner and operator of a treatment, storage or disposal facility of hazardous wastes shall establish and maintain such records for a three-year period, make such reports and furnish such information pertaining to the generation, transportation, treatment, storage or disposal of said waste, and install, use and maintain such monitoring equipment or methods, sample such wastes, materials, soils or waters, in accordance with such methods and procedures, at such locations and times, as the department shall require. Section 40-2B-2 Alabama Tax Tribunal. (a) Statement of Purpose. To increase public confidence in the fairness of the state tax system, the state shall provide an independent agency with tax expertise to resolve disputes between the Department of Revenue and taxpayers, prior to requiring the payment of the amounts in issue or the posting of a bond, but after the taxpayer has had a full opportunity to attempt settlement with the Department of Revenue based, among other things, on the hazards of litigation.
