Section 37-3-12 Certificate of public convenience and necessity - Scope of authority
granted; deviations; charter parties; transportation of newspapers, baggage or mail; abandonment
or discontinuance. (a) Any certificate issued under Sections 37-3-10 and 37-3-11 shall specify
the service to be rendered and the routes over which, the fixed termini, if any, between which,
and the intermediate and off-route points, if any, at which, and in case of operations not
over specified routes or between fixed termini, the territory within which the motor carrier
is authorized to operate; and there shall at the time of issuance and from time to time thereafter
be attached to the exercise of the privilege granted by the certificate such reasonable terms,
conditions and limitations as the public convenience and necessity may from time to time require,

Section 32-5A-191.4 Ignition interlock devices. (a) As used in Section 32-5A-191,
the term, "ignition interlock device" means a constant monitoring device that prevents
a motor vehicle from being started at any time without first determining the equivalent blood
alcohol level of the operator through the taking of a breath sample for testing. The system
shall be calibrated so that the motor vehicle may not be started if the blood alcohol level
of the operator, as measured by the test, reaches a blood alcohol concentration level of 0.02.
(b) The ignition interlock device shall be installed, calibrated, and monitored directly by
trained technicians who shall train the offender for whom the device is being installed in
the proper use of the device. The use of a mail in or remote calibration system where the
technician is not in the immediate proximity of the vehicle being calibrated is prohibited.

of the accumulation and storage of junk, inoperable motor vehicles, and other litter within
the unincorporated areas of Chambers County, and licensing the operation of junkyards within

Section 40-12-253 Ad valorem taxation of motor vehicles. (a) Effective January 1, 2000,
ad valorem taxes on motor vehicles shall be assessed and the tax collected forward on a current
basis to coincide with the collection of motor vehicle license taxes and registration fees.
(1) Ad valorem taxes on motor vehicles shall become due and payable on the first day of the

Section 40-17-350 Transportation of motor fuel; inspections. (a) Each person operating
a refinery or terminal in Alabama shall prepare and provide to the driver of every highway
vehicle receiving motor fuel at the facility a shipping document setting out on its face the
destination state as represented to the terminal operator by the shipper or the shipper's
agent. Failure to comply with this subsection may result in a department imposed penalty of
