Section 34-15C-5 Powers and duties of board. The board shall perform the following duties, subject to the other provisions of this chapter: (1) Administer fully this chapter and any rules promulgated by the board pursuant to this chapter. (2) Prescribe, make, adopt, and amend such rules pursuant to the Alabama Administrative Procedure Act as the board deems necessary to carry out the provisions of this chapter. (3) For the purpose of enforcing this chapter, conduct investigations and hearings concerning charges against registered interior designers, at any time or place within the state, administer oaths and affirmations, examine witnesses, and receive evidence in the course of any such hearings. Section 22-30-16 Responsibilities of hazardous waste storage and treatment facility and hazardous waste disposal site operators. (a) The department, acting through the commission, is authorized to promulgate rules and regulations establishing such standards, applicable to owners and operators of hazardous waste treatment, storage or disposal facilities as may be necessary to protect human health or the environment. (a) A multistate license to practice registered or licensed practical nursing issued by a home state to a resident in that state shall be recognized by each party state as authorizing a nurse to practice as a registered nurse or as a licensed practical nurse, under a multistate licensure privilege, in each party state. (b) A state shall implement procedures for considering the criminal history records of applicants for initial multistate licensure or licensure by endorsement. Section 40-9F-4 Tax credits calculated, claimed, reserved, granted; transfer or assignment of tax credits. (a) The state portion of any tax credit against the tax imposed by Chapters 16 and 18, for the taxable year in which the certified rehabilitation is placed in service, shall be equal to 25 percent of the qualified rehabilitation expenditures for certified historic structures, and shall be 10 percent of the qualified rehabilitation expenditures for qualified pre-1936 non-historic structures.
