Section 45-4-244.48 Disposition of funds. The proceeds from all taxes collected under
this subpart shall be remitted to Bibb County and deposited in the Bibb County General Fund.
Eighty percent of the net proceeds after the cost of collection shall be distributed to the
Bibb County Board of Education to be used for the acquisition, construction, maintenance,
equipping, and operation of public school facilities, and the board's share of the net proceeds
may be pledged as security for the payment of principal and interest on any indebtedness heretofore
or hereafter issued to provide public school facilities in the county. The remaining 20 percent

Section 11-20-2 Legislative intent; construction of article generally. (a) It is the
intent of the Legislature by the passage of this article to authorize counties to acquire,
own and lease projects for the purpose of promoting industry and trade by inducing manufacturing,
industrial and commercial enterprises to locate in this state or to expand, enlarge or modernize

Section 32-7C-36 Legislative intent, scope, and construction of article. (a) It is the
intent of the Legislature to provide for uniformity of laws governing TNCs, TNC drivers, and

Section 22-27-23 Special pledges for payment of principal and interest on warrants.
(a) The county commission of the county issuing any such warrants may, in its discretion,
assign and specially pledge, for the payment of the principal of and interest on such warrants,
so much as may be necessary for said payment of any one or more of the following, or any part
