Section 33-13-4 Procedure for incorporation. To become a corporation, the Governor, the Director
of Finance, one member of the Senate, appointed by the president of the Senate, one member
of the House of Representatives, appointed by the Speaker of the House and the Director of
the State Docks Department shall present to the Secretary of State of the State of Alabama

Section 11-65-6 Incorporation of commission. The five persons initially designated as members
of a commission shall become a corporation with the power and authority provided in this chapter
by proceeding according to the provisions of this chapter. To become a corporation, the persons

Section 4-3-5 Board of directors of authority. Each authority shall be governed by a board
of directors of three or more members, selected as provided herein. If the sole authorizing
subdivision is a county, the governing body of said county shall elect all members, the number

Section 15-18-179 Application for incorporation; certificate of incorporation; amendment; board
of directors; dissolution; funding; competitive bidding laws not applicable. (a) A public
corporation may be organized as a community punishment and corrections authority pursuant
to this article in any county or group of counties located in one or more judicial circuits.
