Section 24-1A-5 Powers of authority. The authority shall have the following powers:
(1) To have succession by its corporate name until the principal of and interest on the bonds
shall have been fully paid and until it shall have been dissolved as provided in this chapter;
(2) To sue and be sued and to prosecute and defend in any court having jurisdiction of the
subject matter and of the parties thereto; (3) To adopt and use a corporate seal and to alter

Section 11-101A-8 Powers of authority. (a) In addition to all other powers granted elsewhere
in this chapter, and subject to the express provisions of its certificate of incorporation,
an authority shall have the following powers, together with all powers incidental thereto

Section 11-65-36 Application of net commission revenues. All commission horse wagering
fees, commission greyhound wagering fees, and other fees, commissions, and moneys, including
fines and forfeitures, to which a commission shall be entitled under the provisions of this

Section 11-81-166 Revenue bonds - Authority for issuance; authorization proceedings

Section 24-1A-42 Definitions. As used in this article, the following terms shall have
the following meanings: (1) ALABAMA HOME BUYERS INITIATIVE. A program that includes a conventional
mortgage program not to exceed one billion dollars ($1,000,000,000) in aggregate loan amount
to be administered by the program administrator, under which single family mortgage loans,
as defined in Section 24-1A-2, are purchased by the program administrator and sold
to the initial holder, and one or more alternative housing programs. No mortgage loan shall
be made to any person who is not a citizen of the United States or is not legally present
