Section 33-2-180 Definitions. Where used in this article the following words and terms shall be given the following respective meanings unless the context hereof clearly indicates otherwise: (1) CODE. The Code of Alabama 1975, as amended. (2) DEPARTMENT. Alabama State Docks Department created in Chapter 1 of Title 33. (3) DIRECTOR. The Director of State Docks provided for in Section 33-1-3. Section 36-18-32 DNA Database Fund. (a) There is hereby established a special fund to be known as the Alabama DNA Database Fund. (b) The fund shall be placed under the management or administration of the Director of the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences for the exclusive purposes of implementing the provisions of this article. (c) The fund shall consist of all moneys received by the director pursuant to the provisions of this section. (d) The director shall have control of those funds as shall not be inconsistent with the provisions of this article and with the laws of the State of Alabama. (a) The State Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Board is created as an autonomous agency of the state government. Section 26-16-93 State Child Death Review Team - Created. (a) There is hereby created the State Child Death Review Team, referred to in this article as the state team. (b) The state team shall be situated within the Alabama Department of Public Health for administrative and budgetary purposes. Section 31-9-62 Salary supplement; allocation of federal funds. (a) Each state-recognized local emergency management agency that employs and retains a local emergency management director who completes the requirements to be a certified local emergency management director and is so designated by the Director of the Alabama Emergency Management Agency shall receive an annual salary supplement from the Alabama Emergency Management Agency in an amount necessary to provide the local director with a total salary of forty thousand dollars ($40,000) per year.
