Section 37-6-3 Enumerated powers. A cooperative shall have the power: (1) To sue and be sued in its corporate name. (2) To adopt a corporate seal and alter the same at its pleasure. (3) To generate, manufacture, purchase, acquire and transmit electric energy and to distribute, sell, supply and dispose of electric energy to its members, to governmental agencies and political subdivisions and to other persons; provided, however, that should a cooperative acquire any electric facilities dedicated or devoted to the public use, it may continue to serve the persons served directly from such facilities at the time of such acquisition without requiring that such persons become members, and, provided further, that such nonmembers shall have the right to become members upon nondiscriminatory terms. Section 41-22-16 Form and content of final order; when final order to be rendered; service of notice and copies of final order. (a) The final order in a proceeding which affects substantial interests shall be in writing and made a part of the record and include findings of fact and conclusions of law separately stated, and it shall be rendered within 30 days: (1) After the hearing is concluded, if conducted by the agency; (2) After a recommended order, or findings and conclusions are submitted to the agency and mailed to all parties, if the hearing is conducted by a hearing officer; or (3) After the agency has received the written and oral material it has authorized to be submitted, if there has been no hearing. (a) The Department of Labor, State Programs Division, shall establish and maintain a state reclamation program for abandoned mines which complies with Title IV of Public Law 95-87. (a) Any operator desiring a permit shall file an application with the department upon a form furnished by the department containing all of the following: (1) A brief description of the tract or tracts of land and the estimated number of acres to be affected by the applicant's surface mining thereon during the permit period. Section 23-1-275 Erection or maintenance of signs - Permits; identification tags or decals. (a) No sign permitted by the provisions of Section 23-1-274 may be erected without first obtaining a permit therefor from the director. No permit shall be required for signs conforming to the provisions of this division which are in existence upon February 10, 1972, until the end of the fifth calendar year. The application for a permit shall be on a form provided by the director and shall contain such information as the director may require.
