Section 36-25-4 State Ethics Commission - Duties; complaint; investigation; hearings; fees; finding of violation. (a) The commission shall do all of the following: (1) Prescribe forms for statements required to be filed by this chapter and make the forms available to persons required to file such statements. (2) Prepare guidelines setting forth recommended uniform methods of reporting for use by persons required to file statements required by this chapter. (3) Accept and file any written information voluntarily supplied that exceeds the requirements of this chapter. (4) Develop, where practicable, a filing, coding, and cross-indexing system consistent with the purposes of this chapter. Section 34-14A-4 Officers; meetings; compensation. (a) Members of the board shall select from its own membership a chair, who shall preside at all meetings of the board unless otherwise ordered, and he or she shall exercise and perform all duties and functions incident to the office of chair. Section 34-24-54 Board of Medical Examiners - Disposition of funds; expenses of board and commission members. All funds received by the State Board of Medical Examiners shall be deposited to the credit of the board in a federally insured financial institution selected by the board. Such funds may be expended for any lawful purpose authorized by this chapter upon a check or draft bearing the signature of the chairman of the board or his or her designee.
