Section 34-23-74 Hospitals and related institutions; automated dispensing systems. (a) Except as otherwise provided in subsection (b), every pharmacy located in a hospital, skilled nursing home, or other related institution in this state shall be under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. In general hospitals, skilled nursing homes, and extended care facilities not operating a pharmacy, the drug or medicine room shall be under the direct supervision and direction of a consulting pharmacist or a member of the medical staff who shall be a licensed practitioner of medicine. The Governor, on behalf of this state, is hereby authorized to execute a compact in substantially the following form with the states of Louisiana and Mississippi, and the legislature hereby signifies in advance its approval and ratification of such compact, which compact is as follows: Southern High-Speed Rail Commission. Article I. The purpose of this compact is to study the feasibility of rapid rail transit service between the states of Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama and to establish a joint interstate commission to assist in this effort. Section 40-26B-3 Payment and collection of tax; appropriation of funds and use by Alabama Medicaid Agency. (a) The taxes imposed by this article shall be due and payable to the department on or before the twentieth day of the month next succeeding the month in which the tax accrues, and shall, when collected, be paid by the department into the State Treasury.
