Section 20-2-54 Registration of persons manufacturing, distributing or dispensing controlled
substances - Revocation or suspension of registration - Grounds and procedure generally. (a)
A registration under Section 20-2-52 to manufacture, distribute or dispense a controlled substance
may be suspended or revoked by the certifying boards upon a finding that the registrant: (1)
Has furnished false or fraudulent material information in any application filed under this
article; (2) Has been convicted of a crime under any state or federal law relating to any
controlled substance; (3) Has had his federal registration suspended or revoked to manufacture,
distribute or dispense controlled substances; (4) Has violated the provisions of Chapter 23
of Title 34; or (5) Has, in the opinion of the certifying board, excessively dispensed controlled

Section 34-13-56 Grounds for revocation, suspension, or refusal to issue or renew licenses,
etc.; hearing; fines. (a) The board may refuse to license any person or establishment for
violation of this chapter. If the board refuses to issue, grant, or renew a license based
on a violation of this chapter, including, but not limited to, violations listed in subsection
(c), the licensee or prospective licensee may request a public hearing before the board to
appeal the action of the board. The request for a public hearing shall be submitted to the
board in writing within 14 calendar days after the date of the refusal. Upon request, the
board shall provide the licensee or prospective licensee with 20 days' notice of the public

dismissal of revocation, etc. (a) The State Board of Medical Examiners, when acting in the
capacity of a certifying board under the Alabama Uniform Controlled Substances Act, Section
20-2-1, et seq., may, within its discretion and for cause, order, and direct that a physician
or osteopath holding a registration certificate successfully complete a course or courses
of continuing medical education on subjects related to the prescribing, dispensing, administering,

(a) This section shall be known and may be cited as the Military Family Jobs Opportunity Act.
(b) Except as provided in subsection (h), and notwithstanding other provisions of law, this
section shall apply to any board, agency, commission, or other entity providing professional
licenses or certificates, or both, for the purpose of employment in the State of Alabama.
On or before January 1, 2019, each board, commission, or agency providing professional licenses

(1) Sell, lease, encumber, or convey in any manner or to solicit or advertise such transactions
