Section 45-30A-50.03 Organization of board. The personnel program established by this part shall be administered by the board. The board shall consist of five members who are residents of the city and who shall be appointed by the governing body. No member of the board shall be employed by or be an official of the city, nor hold any elective public office. The composition of the board shall be designated as Place No. 1, Place No. 2, Place No. 3, Place No. 4, and Place No. 5. The person appointed as a member of the board in Place No. 1 shall serve a term of two years; the person so appointed for Place No. 2 shall serve a term of four years; the person appointed for Place No. 3 shall serve a term of six years.
