Section 45-26-142.10 Powers of district; bylaws. (a) The district shall constitute a public corporation, which shall have the power to do any and all acts or things necessary and convenient for carrying out the purposes for which it is created, including, but not limited to, all of the following: (1) To sue and be sued. (2) To have a seal and alter the same at pleasure. (3) To acquire, hold, and dispose of property, real and personal, tangible and intangible, or interests therein and to pay therefor in cash or on credit, and to secure and procure payment of all or any part of the purchase price thereof on the terms and conditions as the board shall determine. Section 11-101A-6 Board of directors. (a) Each corporation shall be governed by a board of directors composed of the number of directors provided in the certificate of incorporation as most recently amended. Section 32-5A-191.4 Ignition interlock devices. (a) As used in Section 32-5A-191, the term, "ignition interlock device" means a constant monitoring device that prevents a motor vehicle from being started at any time without first determining the equivalent blood alcohol level of the operator through the taking of a breath sample for testing. The system shall be calibrated so that the motor vehicle may not be started if the blood alcohol level of the operator, as measured by the test, reaches a blood alcohol concentration level of 0.02. (b) The ignition interlock device shall be installed, calibrated, and monitored directly by trained technicians who shall train the offender for whom the device is being installed in the proper use of the device.
