Section 22-11A-4 Certain records to be provided to State Health Officer or Bureau of Clinical
Laboratories. (a) For purposes of this article, the following terms have the following meanings:
(1) CLINICAL MATERIALS. Either of the following: a. A clinical isolate that contains or that
may contain an infectious agent of public health importance. b. Material that contains or
that may contain an infectious agent of public health importance, if an isolate is not available,
in the following order of preference: 1. A patient specimen. 2. Nucleic acid. 3. Other laboratory
material. (2) PROVIDER OF MEDICAL SERVICES. A physician, hospital, laboratory, or other medical

Section 22-32-3 Acquisition of waste disposal site. The Department of Energy may accept gifts
or grants of title to real property for establishing a low-level radioactive waste disposal
site. Further, upon the determination by the Governor of the existence of a need for a site
by Alabama citizens within the next five years, the Department of Energy may acquire title
to real property by purchase, condemnation, or otherwise for the establishment of a low-level
radioactive waste site. Such need may include designation of the State of Alabama as a host

Section 22-4-33 Health Care Information and Data Advisory Council. (a) There is established
the Health Care Information and Data Advisory Council to give advice and guidance to SHPDA
in adopting rules necessary to implement this article, to review and serve as consultants

Section 22-4-8 Statewide Health Coordinating Council - Functions. (a) The Statewide Health
Coordinating Council shall advise and serve as consultants to the State Board of Health regarding

Section 27-19-56 Outline of coverage; disclosure of information. (a) In order to provide for
full and fair disclosure in the sale of Medicare supplement policies, no Medicare supplement
policy shall be delivered or issued for delivery in this state and no certificate shall be
delivered pursuant to a group Medicare supplement policy delivered or issued for delivery
in this state unless an outline of coverage is delivered to the applicant at the time application
is made. (b) The commissioner shall prescribe the format and content of the outline of coverage
required by subsection (a) of this section. For purposes of this section, "format"

Section 34-24-521 Definitions. In this compact, the following terms have the following meanings:
(a) BYLAWS. Those bylaws established by the interstate commission pursuant to Section 34-24-530

the social well-being and general welfare of the youth of the state through a comprehensive

Section 33-15-3 Procedure for incorporation. To become a corporation, the persons who are designated
to become members of the initial board of directors of the authority, as provided in Section
33-15-4, shall present to the Judge of Probate of Franklin County a certificate of incorporation

persons; (2) The term of office of each of the said persons as such directors; (3) The name

Section 44-1-2 Definitions. The following terms, wherever used in this chapter, shall have
the following meanings: (1) AFTERCARE. A youth is released by the department from a state
training school operated by the department, wherein the department releases legal custody,
supervision, and the right to return until further order of the juvenile court. The term means
a legal status created by order of the committing court at the time of release from a state
training school whereby a youth is permitted to return to the community subject to supervision
by the court or any agency designated by the court and subject to return to the court at any
