Section 41-9-1023 Alabama Athletic Commission - Creation; composition; medical advisory panel. (a) There is created the Alabama Athletic Commission composed of six members. (b)(1) The membership of the commission shall be inclusive and reflect the racial, gender, geographic, urban/rural, and economic diversity of the state. The Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals is hereby authorized to hire two additional staff attorneys to assist that court in legal research and analysis, including the preparation of staff memoranda, and to perform such other duties as directed by the court.
