Section 22-20-7 Inspection of dairy farms, milk-cooling stations, etc. The State Board of Health shall inspect dairy farms, milk-cooling stations, milk-processing plants and creameries for grading the milk and cream output of such establishments. The said inspections shall be made in accordance with the rules and regulations of the State Board of Health, and the grading of the milk and milk products shall be carried out in compliance with the specifications of the United States Public Health Service standard milk ordinance. Every person who produces milk, milk products, or frozen desserts for sale or consignment or for remuneration of any nature, in a milk, milk products, or frozen dessert processing plant shall annually obtain a permit from the State Board of Health prior to selling or offering for sale, consigning or offering for consignment, or offering for a remuneration, the milk, milk products, or frozen dessert in the State of Alabama.
