Section 41-29-291 Composition. (a) The Alabama Workforce Council shall consist of the
following members: (1) Fourteen members appointed by the Governor. (2) One member appointed
by the Lieutenant Governor. (3) One member appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
(4) One member appointed by the President Pro Tempore of the Senate. (5) The Deputy Secretary
of the Workforce Development Division of the Department of Commerce shall be an ex officio

There is hereby created within the state Department of Public Safety a Driver License Medical
Advisory Board for the purposes of advising the director concerning the medical aspects of
