Section 11-50-241 Construction of division; jurisdiction, etc., of State Board of Health and
state Public Service Commission. (a) Neither this division nor anything contained in this
division shall be construed as a restriction or limitation upon any power, right, or remedy
which any corporation now in existence or hereafter formed may have in the absence thereof,
but shall be construed as cumulative and independent of any such power, right or remedy. No
proceedings, notice, or approval shall be required for the incorporation of such corporation,
the acquisition of any property, or the making of any loans or issuance of instruments in
evidence thereof or as security therefor, except as prescribed in this division, any other

Section 2-21-31 Penalties for violations of chapter or rules and regulations; injunctive relief;
warning notices. (a) Penalties. Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this
chapter or who fails to perform any duty or requirement imposed by the provisions of this

Section 34-9-5 Penalties. Any person who shall engage in the practice of dentistry across state
lines or practice dentistry or dental hygiene in this state within the meaning of this chapter
without having first obtained from the board a license and an annual registration certificate,
when the certificate is required by this chapter, or who violates this chapter, or who willfully

Section 22-3-2 County boards of health - Duties generally. It shall be the duty of the county
boards of health in their respective counties and subject to the supervision and control of
the State Board of Health: (1) To supervise the enforcement of the health laws of the state,
