(a)(1) The commission shall be the sole regulator of professional boxing in this state and shall have authority to protect the physical safety and welfare of professional boxers and serve the public interest by closely supervising all professional boxing in this state. (a) This section and Section 41-22-5.2 shall be known and may be cited as "The Red Tape Reduction Act."
